Agar.io is definitely a phenomenon. And it’s a phenomenon that was written and drawn by one of Reddit’s users. Firstly, only PC owners with a browser can play this game. But now, with the beginning of July, Agar.io has hit the mobile devices. Not without a reason. Agar.io conquered the hearts of pecetowców. So why not try your hands on the mobil?
Agar.io is a fully arcade game and extremely easy to play. We are a ball, a small point on the board that has just started its existence. From this one should start. Our goal is … eating. Devour everything that is on our way. This is not as easy as it might seem. The ball grows as you eat. And as it grows, it becomes slower, heavier and less agile. On the board, however, we are not alone. Yes, at the beginning of the game we eat points that are on the board, but small portions of food are not enough for our ball, though new ones appear on the board. Soon you have to hunt for something bigger. And here are other users …
Other players also have their balls, these also grow as far as food is concerned. There is one basic rule – the smaller one gets eaten by the bigger one. Always. If balls are roughly the same size – they will simply infiltrate without causing any change. It reminds of play with cat and mouse. So either we run away from the bigger opponent or we chase the smaller one. The mechanics of the game does not leave much more options. So here we can divide our cell into several parts to move a bit faster, or shoot a part of our collected “body” to catch a smaller unit fleeing somewhere. However, the player is vulnerable to attacks from larger users. Occasionally, viruses also appear. If a player hits a ball they will be split into smaller units. Simple? Of course. You will not find here any additions or buy-in, remanufactured spheres, or any other after-effects game. This title is based entirely on advertising profits. But these somehow do not interfere in the game.
And that is basically just about the mechanics of the gameplay. We can only change in options if we want it to move if we take a finger off the screen. In addition, we can also change our name before each game starts. And believe me, people have a little fantasy, so we’ll find pretty flowers here sometimes. Just tap somewhere on the screen to get the ball moving. And it will be flying in the direction that we point to. I will honestly say that collecting balls was a great pleasure to me. It was also great to hunt smaller units using a shot made of their own ball. A little like hunting. Entertainment in the game is so simple that the creator of the game did not even provide a tutorial for her, so including the first time we jump right into the game, so we are quickly absorbed by a more expedient ball.
The visual reference resembles the usual points or circles drawn in a school notebook. From time to time on our way we will meet a colorful object, specially made by one of the users. You can see that players spend a lot of time in Agar.io quite a lot of time. Sound will not clap because I just do not have it. But that does not mean that the game is worse. On the contrary. When you first play this game in your paws, I guarantee you will repeat for a few good minutes: “But this game is dumb,” put the tablet to play again after a few minutes and see what ball you will be able to form now . That was the case at least. By the way, a few more or less juicy words sprang up when the pile was already high, and accidentally hit the bigger opponent that hit us against the wall.
However, Agar.io does not play games that do not have internet connection. The game is based entirely on multiplayer. Finally, it comes from browsers. And it’s not a disadvantage in any case. If we had opponents created solely for the needs of the game, either they would be too difficult, or too easy to devour. So we are aware that this ball next to us is basically a living entity, and its actions on the board are unpredictable. And this is also the cool point – you can stuff yourself into a stray ball and completely accidentally swallow it or get yourself swallowed up.
There is only one problem. Due to its simplicity, the game is slightly repetitive. We start playing the same way and we have the same price – survival and getting as big as possible. And basically all this.
All the charm of this game is hidden in its simplicity. And in the end, it’s basically a rule. So no one understood the phenomenon of the extremely difficult Flappy Bird. I do not remember
