State of Decay 2 Download reproduces a well-known series about the zombie apocalypse – The Walking Dead, especially its last seasons. There are living dead, there are groups of survivors, and by managing your settlement, you can embody someone like the heartless Negan or right Rick. However, the most frequent are the longitudes and monotony, intermittently interrupted by a thrilling action. Numerous technical errors, just like those in the series scenario, make the screen last longer only for the biggest fans of the living dead and the first part of the game. State of Decay 2 for free State of Decay 2 is another game after Sea of Thieves available in Microsoft’s subscription service – Xbox Game Pass. Having paid a small monthly fee (there is also a 14-day free trial), you can play the full version of this item without any restrictions, just like in the Origin Access service. The game starts with little interest, but then it’s better. Despite the fact that from the very beginning, from the very beginning, the “budget” of the entire production and the evidently medium quality of performance, I admit that it was hard to break away from State of Decay 2, even after thirty hours of fun. Many elements related to the gameplay, such as managing the base and its extension, moral choices, fighting with zombies and the general climate of the apocalypse enhanced by capital music, function quite well here. A lot of things limping in the previous installment have been improved or developed, while retaining many solutions that fans of “ones” have got used to. In State of Decay 2 you can feel a bit of the same spirit as in the work of the studio Piranha Bytes – you have to forgive the game, but you can definitely like it! The streets of Zombieland in State of Decay 2 are full of intrusive hitchhikers. “Press E to search” – for 90% of the time we will do just such a thing – strangely, it is not so boring. The Writing Dead ADVANTAGES: A suggestive climate of zombie apocalypse and immersive survival; a wealth of options for expanding the base; choices that affect the game world and our situation; satisfying battles with zombies, especially white weapons and modified cars; fast and smooth switching between your game and co-op mode; the ability to give equipment at co-ops, e.g. weapons, and move it to your game. FAULTS: lots of technical mistakes and failures; unused potential of hostile people; not very interesting, not many pseudotabular missions; somewhat monotonous and similar maps; no possibility of personalizing heroes and settlement, e.g. naming. We start to create a list of forgiving things in the first minutes. The game has an extremely unpretentious and boring tutorial and probably the ugliest movie cutscenes in the history of the current generation of consoles. Thanks to them, you can move in time – more or less until the first years of the 21st century. Luckily, when you start the game again, you can skip this beginning and it’s better. On the other hand, the debatable issue is the abandonment of the linear plot in the “one” in favor of sporadic, similar side missions, unconnected in any wholeness. In State of Decay 2 Download, the main character is the whole village and our small community. We create a kind of miniature here – it depends on us who will survive the next days, who will be the leader, whether we will expand the current place, look for a new home, or maybe move to a completely different region. Our decisions affect the world of the game – if we ignore requests for help from an enclave, it will leave the area and lose access to interesting items for exchange. If we help, we will get additional profits. From time to time there are also tasks with some kind of background, like the one in which we are looking for the equipment of the famous sniper, veteran of the mission in Afghanistan, living near our settlement. Usually, however, they reward us only with a detail from the life of a given character or a shred of knowledge about the game’s universe. Fun theoretically has its end, because it is crowned with achieving all goals of the group leader. The different past of specific leaders, such as a builder or sheriff, means completely different dreams. One will want to provide access to running water and toilet in the base, the second to create a shooting range and armory. The advantage of such a solution is undoubtedly a greater motivation to repeatedly pass the game. The other side of the coin, however, is the progressive monotony of the game and I must admit that I missed even one scripted surprise, even if some unexpected helicopter landing. All the more because we hear the messages of the group of mercenaries on the radio (known from the “ones” Red Talon). If only the basic game was overcome with some kind of variety … it would be a big change in a positive way, and so I have slightly mixed feelings.
