Are you waiting for the premiere of Albion Online? I do, but not because it’s a good / bad game. First of all, I’m curious if this will be postponed again or whether the players will eventually be able to play seriously. But there are a lot of signs that at the end of this tunnel there is light!
On June 7th, game servers will be updated with Hector update. This patch is treated as the last patch before the official launch of the game, which will take place on July 17. There will be no more updates with new content or major changes. Developers are supposed to focus now on fixing bugs.
So what will Hector offer us? First of all Black Market. A special NPC will be found in Caerleon, which will buy various craft items from us. These, in turn, mysteriously roam the mobs or crates. Yes, it can be drained! Our trader will not, however, have endless demand for our equipment. Demand for items depends on the number of slaughtered creatures on the server.
Hellgates have also been modified. This mix of PvE and PvP reportedly suited the players to their taste, so the developers decided to refine this mode a bit. There is also a pentagram-shaped map and varied levels of difficulty. Changes will also be made to the Outlands, where black cities will be cleared of current cities. Instead of them in the center of Caerleon we find a portal leading to black zones.
